NPP former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Obuasi constituency has disclosed the reasons why he stopped talking on radio and TV to defend the party.
According to him, the difficulty in fighting against corruption is the main reason why he desisted talking on radio and TV.
“Under Mahama I realized some of his relatives and wife had control so we were hitting them hard, criticizing, calling them thieves because of corruption. When we (NPP) came to power, our boys followed the same trend so I decided not to talk again because when it comes to corruption, I couldn’t defend my party anymore”, Mr. Edward lamented.
The former MP said he is confused when asked about President Akufo Addo’s commitment to fighting corruption. He declared however that, corruption is a big issue in Ghana it has been very hectic to be combatted.
He disclosed to Bismark Brown on Oyerepa Breakfast Time Monday, that both NPP and NDC are the same in terms of corruption
