Successful leaders are experienced problem-solvers. The essence of leadership is problem solving.
Over the years, teacher motivation has been one of the biggest challenges of the nation. As such, long hours of work under very deplorable conditions and work environment, lack of adequate teaching and learning materials, and low incomes, among many others have posed as a major obstacle towards the achievement of SDG 4, which reads Quality Education.
Teachers within Madina Constituency are not left out. However, when trouble hits, Leaders know from past encounters how to work with the right people and resources to reach a solution.
In order to increase the motivation of Teachers in the Madina-La Nkwantanang Municipal Assembly, I have established the SOSU BEST TEACHER AWARDS (SBTW), to appreciate hardworking and dedicated teachers in the Municipality and inspire other teachers to aspire to greatness.
At the end, my goal is to see our children in all private and public schools do well and become great leaders tomorrow.
As it is said, “Today you lead the school, tomorrow your students will lead the world.”
My office has set the pace; I invite Corporate Ghana and people who believe that our teachers are an important tool to our future development to join and support this effort.
