The Deputy Chief Imam in the Jaman North District, Imam Abdul Malik Suleiman has asserted that, the president of The republic, His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo must as a matter of urgency declare his position on the LGBTQ+ Brouhaha which wants to take over the country. He said, despite a statement issued sometime ago by the president on this same LGBTQ+ issue, it wasn’t clear as to whether he is against or in support of it therefore the president should make it known to Ghanaians clearly as to whether he is in support of it or not.
Alhaji Abdul Malik Suleiman stressed that, if animals are not into same sex scandal, then there is no need for human beings with conscience to involve themselves into such devilish act due to financial support hence it must be condemn, also president Akuffo Addo must declare his stance on the issue at stake.
On his side, the Daabihene for Sampa traditional council, Nana Kofi Krufa added that not everything in the country should be tolerated or discussed in the Parliament house as a result of democracy.
Nana Kofi Krufa stressed that, all the past presidents of the country declared their position against this LGBTQ+ which paved no way for any bill to be discussed on it in Parliament therefore president Akuffo Addo must speak against it immediately to stop the debates and the rants by some Ghanaians.
He quizzes that, should the Parliament after discussing the anti-LGBTQ+ bills rejects it, can the president alone make it effective. He has therefore advised the president to declare his stance against it as Former president Atta Mills did some years ago.
