The Member of Parliament for the Techiman North Constituency and a former Deputy Minister for Arts and Culture under the Mahama administration, Hon Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare has commissioned a corn mill at Kokroko, a farming community in the Techiman North district.
The commission of this project was in fulfillment of a campaign promise to the residents of KOKROKO prior to the 2020 general elections.
The Member of Parliament today, handed over this project to the chief of the community at a brief ceremony.
In her visit to the community, the chiefs and people appealed to her to support them in that direction because it was one of their biggest challenges.
This came as a sigh of relief when the Chiefs and people took turns to thank and praise her for that gesture that will go a long way to improve the socio economic development of the people.
In another development, the MP donated building materials, including iron sheets and cements to the affected victims of the recent rainstorm that hit the community.
