Prof .AMEYAW-AKUMFi Chaired The 2021 BUSIA Memorial Lecture

Yesterday, October 1st 2021, Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi, the Board Chairman of PPA chaired the 2021 Busia Memorial Lecture organised by the Busia Institute for Rural and Democratic Development (BIRDD), held in Sunyani, capital of the Bono Region.

The event, which was well attended, was under the theme, ‘The Youth in a Free Enterprise Society,’

 

The speakers included Hon. Ameyaw Cheremeh Member of Parliament for Sunyani East and Board Chair for Bui Power Authority who deputised for the Bono Regional Minister Hon. Justina Awo Banahene, Hon. John Kumah, Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency and Deputy Minister of Finance and Economic Planning; Nana Kusi Apea Busia Junior, a research fellow at the University of London and Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie, Member of Parliament for Asunafo North and deputy Minister for Youth and Sports.

The Omanhene of Drobo Traditional Area and Vice President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs was the special guest of honour.
