New DCE for Tain calls for cooperation for development

The Tain District Assembly on Friday 1st, September 2021 gave an overwhelming confirmation to Lucy Acheampong as the District Chief Executive (DCE).

Lucy Acheampong, who has been a staunch supporter of the party received 100% endorsement from 51 elected Assembly members and Government appointees at Assembly’s emergency meeting at Nsawkaw.

The election was under the supervision of the Bono Regional Minister Justina Owusu-Banahene and witnessed by the Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye.

Lucy Acheampong in her acceptance speech averred that, she was much grateful to President Akufo Addo and other stakeholders for the great opportunity given her as the DCE and calls for co-operation in moving the development agenda of the District forward.
