Mr Akone receives overwhelming endorsement as DCE for Banda

All the 15 assembly members voted for Mr Emmanuel Akone to seal endorsement in an election supervised by the Bono Regional Minister Justina Owusu-Banahene on Friday.

Mr Emmanuel Akone, who hitherto was the Constituency Secretary, speaking after his confirmation, thanked the President for giving him the opportunity to serve the people of Banda.

He also thanked the Bono Regional Minister Justina Owusu-Banahene and the Regional Chairman of the party Kwame Baffoe Abronye for their support and cooperation throughout the process.

The Bono Regional Minister Justina Owusu-Banahene expressed her gratitude to the Assembly members for the confidence reposed in the new DCE and overwhelmingly endorsing him.

She called for unity, cooperation and transparency from the new DCE as he begins his new duties.
