All 15 assembly members in Dormaa West approved the DCE nominee

President Akufo-Addo’s nominee for the Dormaa West District Assembly Hon Francis K Oppong has today, Tuesday been overwhelmingly confirmed as the new District Chief Executive of the area.

All the 15 Assembly Members who participated in his confirmation, voted ‘Yes’, giving him a 100% resounding confirmation.

Mr Francis Oppong while appreciating his confirmation promised to continue the good works of his predecessor.

The Bono Regional Minister, Justina Owusu-Banahene tasked him to carry on with the well-intended programs and activities of the assembly as well as the NPP government while being aware of the expectation of his leadership.

She urged him to channel his positive energy into fighting all the societal challenges that have consistently become detrimental to the development of the assembly.

Witnessing the comfirmation were traditional authorities, concerned natives in the area and the leadership of the party in the region.
