An aide to Reverend Owusu Bempah, who was on the run following the arrest of the preacher has been arrested, the Police has announced.
Bright Berchie, 30, was arrested with a weapon on him. He has been charged with offences of threats of death, offensive conduct and carrying firearms without lawful authority.
Meanwhile, the Prosecution in the trial of the popular pastor served notice that they are working on amending the charges.
Rev. Owusu Bempah, together with four others are standing trial for six counts including threat of death on Patricia Asiedua Koranteng popularly called Nana Agradaa.
The rest of the accused persons are Mensah Ofori, an associate pastor of Owusu Bempah, Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene and Nathaniel Agyekum all members of the church, were together charged with six counts.
