The National Chairman for the main opposition party in Ghana, Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has joined a host of other political leaders in Africa for a workshop supported by the USAID in Abidjan.
The workshop, which is being hosted in Abidjan, the capital of Cote D’Ivore COTE, is organized for members of the regional body on the review of the EISA’s Benchmarks for enhanced political party performance for democracy governance in Africa.
The National Chairman will join a host of other leading political party leaders from West, Central and Northern Africa for the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) workshop.
This workshop is an activity under the Supporting Transitions and Electoral Processes (STEP), with funding from USAID which seeks to update the benchmarks for emerging realities faced by political parties across Africa.
The NDC as a Social Democratic Party, seeks to promote and expand the frontiers of democratic governance in Africa.
Members of the Ghanaian community expect the National Chairman of NDC to lift high the flag of NDC and Ghana at large when given the opportunity to make his presentation.
