We Will Ensure An Effective Branch Elections And Not Branch Selections. HON. ASIEDU NKETIA

The Ashanti Region has proven to be a region that we cannot ignore in any elections. Our performance was good but can be made better if we get our basis right .

The level of tribalism that we are introducing in the region can destroy our future expectations .

NDC has been able to produce an Ewe President through Rawlings, produced an Akan through Prof. Mills and a Northerner through President Mahama. Why then will we be seeking an election based on your tribe?

Another problem that we have is the selection of branch executives and not branch elections. It is surprising that a person who hopes to win power for the NDC in 2024 will rather select a girlfriend, a mother, a father, a son etc as branch executive with the sole mind of winning constituency, or maintain his branch. This thing will not happen again. We must get our basis right for victory 2024.
