The Former President and the Flagbearer for the 2020 Presidential Election, together with his running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman and National Executives will visit the Bono Region on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
In a press release signed by the NDC Bono Regional Communications Officer Mr Charles Akowuah Tuffour, the one day visit by Former President Mahama and his entourage in the region will be centered in Sunyani, the Regional Capital of the region.
According to the press release, the visit to Sunyani on Wednesday is to offer Former President Mahama as the Flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress the opportunity to express appreciations to the Chiefs and the people of the Bono Region for their support in the 2020 General Elections.
Former President Mahama will take the opportunity to engage with the Chiefs, the Clergy, Opinion Leaders, Party supporters and the General Public.
The National Democratic Congress entreats the General public who will be coming for the program at the various designated venues to strictly observe all the COVID-19 protocols, especially with the wearing of nose masks at all times.

H.E JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA ”THANK YOU TOUR” TO BONO REGION
The 2020 Campaign Team of the Former President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has served notice to the Bono Regional
Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of his intention to embark on a 1-Day ”Thank You” visit of the Region, on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
The Former President’s ”Thank You Tour” Team will call on Bono Regional House of Chiefs, meet Heads of Religious Bodies, Regional Imam/Zongo Chiefs and interact with the Media to show his appreciation to the Chiefs and People of Bono Region, for his 2020 electoral performance in the Region and conclude it with NDC Party Stakeholders’ Meeting.
We wish to admonish the good People of Bono Region to strictly observe all COVID-19 Protocols, especially regarding the wearing of Nose Marks and Social Distancing to ensure a successful visit.
