Our deplorable roads is life threatening to people of Adum Banso in Mpohor

The Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress in the Mpohor Constituency has demoaned the deplorable nature of the roads at the Adum Banso community.

In a press release by Mr Daniel Mawuli Agbesi, the Communication Officer expressed the daily level of frustrations the residents have to go through to commute from one community to the other.

”It is very distasteful seeing residents of the good people in the Mpohor District get out of their cars and push them through the muds before getting to their various destinations due to the blatant failure of this deceptive NPP Government” Mr Daniel Mawuli stated.

The NDC Communications Officer expressed worry as to why the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia led NPP government will deny a constituency that has always voted for the NPP the needed developmental projects.

 

”Since the creation of this district in 2012, the Mpohor Constituency has always been voting for the NPP Government and for that reason, at least, the district deserves better in terms of infrastructural development under this government but the worse is what the district always gets in returns” the Communications Officer added.

DEPLORABLE NATURE OF ROADS IS LIFE THREATENING TO THE PEOPLE OF ADUM BANSO IN THE MPOHOR DISTRICT

It’s very distasteful in this era of democratical dispensation in this 21st century under the regime of this Akufo Addo / Bawumia failed government seeing residents of the good people in the Mpohor District get out of their cars and push them through the muds before getting to their various destinations due to the blatant failure of this deceptive NPP Government for fixing the road as promised.

One would ask; was this the same road our President H. E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo came to cut sod on the 10th of June, 2018 for its construction? Yes it’s the same road; one and only major road leading to the District’s capital town Mpohor.

Mpohor is one of the Constituencies that have remained faithful to this NPP Government over the years; since the creation of this District in 2012, the Mpohor Constituency has always being voting for the NPP Government and for that reason at least the District deserves better in terms of infrastructural development under this Government but the worse is what the District always gets in returns.

It will interest one to know that almost all the developmental projects in the District were done by the NDC governments; talking about the only Senior High School in the District ( Mpohor SHS ), the Ultra Modern ICT center in Mpohor, Mpohor Health Center, CHPS Compounds, numerous School blocks and electrification projects.

The NPP over the years has never treated the good people of Mpohor District fairly. As indicated earlier, the only major road which links the Ahanta West and the Mpohor District; from Kejabil to Mpohor through Adum Banso which is the plight of the residents of the District is now in a deplorable state after the president came and cut sod in 2018, 10th June and promised to complete it within 18 months. Attached are some photos and videos of the state of the road at the moment. It’s very difficult for drivers to pligh on this road after the few rains in the recent times.

We are by this release requesting this government and it’s NPP leadership to look into the matters of this District and stop the usual promises but nothing to show.
