Ghanaians doubt ‘Agenda 111’, prove them wrong – Otumfuo to Akufo-Addo

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has urged President Nana Akufo-Addo to fulfil his promise of constructing 111 district and regional hospitals across the country adding that Ghanaians have lost trust in his promises.

Speaking on behalf of the Asantehene at Trede at the official sod cutting for the government’s agenda 111, Nana Achina Kwagyan, the Asuonyonu Hene said comments on social media clearly indicates that Ghanaians have no hope in his capacity to deliver the 111 hospitals.

“Ghanaians are doubting you, they claim you have been unable to finish the Kumawu hospital, Fomena hospital is still uncompleted, if I go on social media, there are a lot of comments about your projects…but now you are the president and you must serve Ghanaians well, Ghanaians don’t forget and they are challenging you that you can’t fulfil your promise.

“But the Otumfuo believes that you can complete the 111 projects…Ghanaians are paying attention to the roads and the development projects you are undertaking. These are the things that motivate us to vote. We vote on anger and hunger but the Otumfuo says you can complete these projects and it will be your legacy. So the Otumfuo has vowed to pray and support you to complete these projects.”

On Tuesday, President Nana Akuf-Akufo Addo cut sod for the commencement of the agenda 111 project in the Ashanti region.

The hospital projects include 101 district hospitals, seven regional hospitals, and two specialized mental health hospitals across the country to be completed within 12 months of commencement of each facility.
