The Constituency Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress has emphatically refuted the claim by the Health Minister regarding the operationalisation of the Tain District Hospital.
The Health Minister, Mr Kwaku Agyeman Manu on Tuesday, August 17, at the sod cutting ceremony for the commencement of ”agenda 111” in Kumasi stated that the Tain District Hospital is operation and has employed a number of health professionals at the facility.
”the Tain District Hospital is operational and that there are nurses, doctors and all paramedics working there as we speak serving the health needs of the indigenous people and others who do business in Tain” the Health Minister said.
In a Press statement issued by the NDC Communications Officer for the Tain Constituency, Mr Samuel Nkrumah described the statement by the minister as an ”attempt to commit murder”.
”The minister has not only told blatant falsehood, but conspiring with the NPP government led by Mr. Akufo Addo to commit murder” he stated
Mr Samuel Nkrumah disclosed that ”after the commissioning, of the uncompleted Tain District Hospital, all chairs, tables and hospital equipment showcased and that were meant to be used at the hospital were later bused back to where they were borrowed from. Who is Mr Agyemang Manu and his NPP friends deceiving”?
Mr Samuel Nkrumah urged all journalists who love the truth and the general well-being of Ghanaians to zoom their lenses to Tain to cross check all that the minister has claimed.

The health minister, Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu has said emphatically this afternoon at today’s sod cutting ceremony held in the Ashanti Region to start the construction of 111 hospitals across the country that, the Tain District Hospital is operational and that there are nurses, doctors and all paramedics working there as we speak serving the health needs of the indigenous people and others who do business in Tain
Ladies and
Gentlemen, kindly help me tell the whole world that the minister has not only told blatant falsehood, but conspiring with the NPP government led by Mr. Akufo Addo to commit murder.
The people in Tain do not need any further evidence to believe this “murder” agenda.
Not too long ago, this same health minister and his party cohorts came to Tain to commission an uncompleted hospital. This was because, the NPP party had not done anything for the people and wanted to impress the chiefs hence the rush to commission what was started by Mills/Mahama led NDC.
Shockingly, after the commissioning, all chairs, tables and hospital equipment showcased and meant to be used at the hospital were later bused back to where they were borrowed from. Who is Mr Agyemang Manu and his NPP friends deceiving?
I don’t want to sound tribalistic, but the minister should not forget that he is from Bono and Tain is also in Bono.
This, Mr Akufo Addo led NPP government, has not only failed the people of Tain in health, but also in education, agric and infact, all sectors of our local economy.
If they disagree with me, Ghanaians should compel them to show us where they built our share of the 1D1F, our share of the good roads they promised and the jobs they created from the planting for food and jobs.
The list of failed promises in Tain is endless and that would be looked at in the future.
Mr Agyemang Manu could not even be specific when talking about the CHPS compounds his government built as to where they can be found. He knows journalists would go and verify.
Why is the NPP government doing this to Ghanaians?
Let me humbly urge all journalists who love the truth and the general well-being of Ghanaians to zoom their lenses to Tain to cross check all that the minister has just said to tell Ghanaians all the holy truth in this matter.
I promise to furnish you with all the full blown facts about the Tain District Hospital soon.
I thank you for your time.
Signed
Samuel Nkrumah Abayie Okrah
