The Sunyani East Communication Officer for the governing New Patriotic Party has stated that their current Regional Chairman has lowered the bar of leadership in the Bono Region with greed.
The NPP Sunyani East Communication Officer and the Political Aide to the Former Bono Regional Minister made this known in an interview monitored by masemtvgh.com.
It could be recall that, there were alleged rancour between the entourage of President Akufo-Addo and his Bono Regional Chairman resulting in the sacking of Abronye from the President’s entourage in the first day of the President’s two day tour in the Bono Region for poor performance.
The Sunyani East Communication Officer, Mr Maxwell Mahama, who has been indifferent about the alleged action of the President to his Regional Chairman, appealed to President Akufo-Addo to forgive Abronye for his poor performance leading to the loss of five Parliamentary seats in the 2020 General Elections in the Bono Region.
Mr Maxwell Mahama subsequently advised the Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe Abronye, to emulate the exemplary works of his predecessor to guide him to bring back love, respect and unity which, according to him, have lost totally from the party in the region because of the personal interest and greed of Abronye.
Maxwell Mahama said, ”the bad attitude of Abronye DC in the Bono Region pushed away many people in the region during the 2020 General Elections”.
”Abronye’s incessant piffle character towards chiefs, opinion leaders and non party members in the region led to the loss of the five Parliamentary seats” Mr Maxwell Mahama revealed.
Maxwell Mahama stated that ”the beautiful legacy the former Bono Regional NPP Chairman, Hon Kwaku Asomah Kyeremeh, left for the party during his period has been dismantled by Abronye”.
He insisted that, there is lack of total unity and respect in the party in the region today, of which some of his unattractive choice of words and comments were a great factor.
