33 year old man dies in a river at Tain District

A young man aged 33, a taxi driver by name Yaw Appiah, was found dead in a River called “Fatikese” in the Tain District of the Bono Region.

The young man after missing for 3 days at Tanoso in the Tain District of Bono Region was found in the river.

This sad incident happened on Monday 16th August, 2021.

Information gathered by masemtvgh.com indicate that the young man was attacked by “hay fever” which the family and the community believed led to his untimely death by throwing himself into the River.

The body of this young man was subsequently discovered by the caretaker of the river when he went to perform rituals and on his surprised saw the body of a human being on the surface of the river and reported the incident to the family.

The incident was then reported to the Tain District Police Commander.

The body has since been buried near the river as tradition demands.
