Woman, 38, crushed to death by speeding Honda vehicle

A 38-year-old woman has been fatally crushed to death in a fatal accident at Krobom-Obretema near the Suhum stretch of Accra to Kumasi Highway.

The body of the deceased Dzifa Doris was horribly separated into two.

The crash occurred Thursday, August 12, 2021, about 3:30 pm when the suspect driver Michael Kotei, 36, driving a Honda accord Private car with trade plate number DV 2115C-2021 with three persons on board from Accra towards Kumasi suddenly veered off the road to crush the female pedestrian who was standing by the roadside waiting to board a commercial vehicle to her destination.

The body of the victim was cut into two pieces and died on the spot.

The car finally crashed in a nearby Bush.

The suspect driver and the three other occupants sustained injuries and were rushed to Suhum Government Hospital for treatment.

The dismembered body of the deceased was removed and deposited at the same hospital mortuary.

The accident vehicle was impounded at the station for testing.
