The people of Kwameasua, a farming community in the Dormaa Central of the Bono Region have called for support for a 30 year old mentally retarded nursing mother, Abena Kyeremah and her 2 months old baby girl whom she had out of rape.
Kyeremah was raped by some unidentified men on different occasions as a result of lack of proper accommodation which resulted in a pregnancy.

Through the help of the people, led by Afia Fofie and the Health Center in the community, Kyeremah was delivered of a bouncing baby – Stephanie Benewaa.
After delivery, both mother and baby have been in critical conditions looking forward to receiving help from sympathisers for their welfare.
It was one of these calls that drew the attention of WENSAH Foundation – a humanitarian organization operating in the Bono Region.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Organization, Isaac Osei Amponsah on Monday, presented items worth over Ghc3,000 to Abena Kyeremah and her baby.
