North Dayi MP commissions water for the Dra Community

The Office of the Hon. Member of Parliament for North Dayi Constituency was joined by Togbe Tornu Yao V, Chief of Aveme Dra Traditional Area, in commissioning a water project for the good people of Aveme Dra.

This water project seeks to improve the quality of life by providing potable water to families within Aveme Dra community and to also lessen the burden of water collection by residents, mostly women and children.

Present at the commissioning ceremony included, Mrs. Belinda Klutsey, wife of Togbe Tornu Yao V, Elders and community members of Aveme Dra.

The water project is a joint intervention by Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh and Togbe Tornu Yao V. The residents expressed their gratitude to Togbe Tornu Yao V and Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh for their efforts in contributing to the betterment of their livelihoods.
