Hon. Alhassan Suhuyini is the one raising issues against gifty ampofo on the basis of some vote buying allegations the cdd leveled against her in the primaries.
for diana asonaba-dapaah, lariba zuweira abudu and amidu issahaku chinnia, it is because the minority didn’t take part in their vetting on friday the 11th of june 2021 because they had left to plant trees. the report is that, they had expected the majority side of the appointments committee to defer vetting until monday the 14th of june 2021. conflicting signals came up as the media reported their absence was due to a boycott of those to be vetted on that day only for the minority chief whip mohammed muntaka to later clarify that it was not a boycott but rather, they were out to plant trees.
reports making the rounds however suggest the minority may be walking out of parliament in the approvals of those nominees because they did not participate in their vetting.
