In compliance with the relevant legal provisions of the UENR-SRC Constitution, it is with great pleasure and gratitude to God, and the team that we make this declaration.
After a wide consultation spanning almost a period of a year, across the two current campuses of UENR; Sunyani and Dormaa, and a deep retrospection, we would like to inform our cherish fellow Technologians that, when nominations are opened by the Electoral Commission of the UENR-SRC, The leader AMANKONAH D. KINGSFORD OF TEAM ORIGINAL K.K and the Incumbent President for MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION (MaSSA-UENR)•shall run for the high office of *SRC PRESIDENT.
We would not be able to run this electoral race and do the work alone, for the task ahead is an uphill one. Therefore, by convention and legal requirements (Article 27(6) of the SRC Constitution), He will need a running mate for the up coming election. In view of that, by the Grace of God, His Vice Presidential aspirant would be ADAM AHMED FUSSEINI well known as LAWYER, the leader of *TEAM LAWYER and the incumbent President of ENTREPRENEURSHIP STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION.
Together, we shall make UENR and the SRC more visible within the tertiary education landscape by ensuring that the comfort of students which is the linchpin to the progress of this University is made a topmost priority. We shall offer ourselves in the upcoming election as visionary and vibrant people for the positions of the SRC PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT. Our vision, mission and perspective remain intact and even mightier. In the coming days, We shall outdoor our plans and policies for the UENR-SRC.
On this note, THE ORIGINALS shall be our official team name.
Indeed, it is TIME for the UENR-SRC Renaissance! Action Not Rhetoric is the battle cry! It is POSSIBLE TOGETHER
