A reliable information available to Masemtvgh.com reveals that the National Democratic Congress, the NDC, has instructed its Caucus on the Appointment Committee to boycotte the vetting of Mr Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah.
Mr Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, a nominee of one of the three deputy ministers designate for Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development is scheduled for vetting this morning, Thursday, June 10, 2021.
According to a source, some of the Minority Caucus on the Appointment Committee have expressed a contrary view on the directives by the National Democratic Congress on the instruction to boycotte the vetting of Mr Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah.
Mr Adjei-Mensah Korsah was the Parliamentary Candidate for Techiman South Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party in the 2020 General Election.
It will be recall that, the National Democratic Congress has had a contrary figures as against the figures that were allegedly declared in favour of Mr Adjei-Mensah Korsah by the Electoral Commission.
The Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress together with his Party has since been in.court at Wenchi, seeking amongst other things, to set aside the alleged collated results by the Electoral Commission for the 2020 Parliamentary Results for Techiman South.
