Hilda Asomani, A 27-year-old woman has stabbed her boyfriend to death for refusing to give her a grass cutter meat on Tuesday, June 8 around 1am at dawn.
The deceased was stabbed in the neck and his jaw.
The incident happened at Genny Guest house, an area near Abesim in the Sunyani East Municipality of the Bono Region.
Speaking with the Police Detective Officer who went to the scene, Sergeant Benjamin Lartey State that,
“So at 1:10 am that we had a call that there was fighting so we rushed to the scene and when we got there it was true.
The girl had stabbed the boyfriend with scissors to death. So quickly we apprehended the lady and also took the body to Sunyani Regional Hospital for the autopsy and preservation.
He also confirmed to us that deceased and suspect have a male child and the lady also had a female child with another man.
The suspect Hilda Asomani, 27, is currently in Police Custody at Abesim while the body of the deceased boyfriend, Prince Aboagye, 30, has been deposited at the Sunyani
The Abesim District Police Command has commenced an investigation into the incident.
