Prof Frimpong Boateng’s son attacks Erick Adjei for his comment on galamsey

Mr Eric Adjei, the Deputy Regional Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress in the Bono Region has been attacked by Jojo Frimpong.

Jojo Frimpong, the son of the immediate past Minister for Environment, Science Innovation and Technology under the first administration of the Akufo-Addo led government attacked Mr Eric Adjei on his social media page.

Mr Eric Adjei, who has been vociferous on the activities of illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey and its subsequent effect on our various water bodies, has been waging a campaign of name and shame on unscrupulous characters who are indulging in this socially unacceptable enterprise.

In one of the campaigns against this social menace, Mr Eric Adjei shared a video on his facebook wall that entails how serious the water turbidity has risen to a level that obviously prevent aquatic life and how devastating the immediate environment appears to be.

This videos, attracted a lot of condemnation from the public on his ward joining the call to thoroughly deal with those who deliberately cause these destructions to our water bodies for their obviously selfish and greedy gains.

It could be recall that, Prof Frimpong Boateng and former Regional Vice Chairman of the NPP in the Central Region were captured on video last year, discussing on how to allegedly embark on galamsey exercise using the NPP members as a conduit, in order to generate money to finance the NPP.

Apparently, it was also alleged that, Jojo Frimpong, the son of the then Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation was one of the NPP guys who were given concessions to do this galamsey activities. There were pictures that were circulation on the various social media pages that purported to capture Jojo Frimpong on various galamsey sites as a leader of a group.

Jojo Frimpong, who seemed to be annoyed by the series of exposés by Eric Adjei on those involving in this galamsey activities decided to launch a personal attack on Mr Eric Adjei.

Mr Eric Adjei, who seemed not to be perturbed by the words of attack from Jojo Frimpong, shared some of the writeups he received from his inbox on his social media handles.
