We need the contractor on site to complete the death trap gutters left behind – Asiri Assembly Member

The assembly member for Asiri electoral area Honorable Mfodwo Barnabas has register his displeasure against the immediate past member of Parliament for Jaman North constituency Honorable Siaka Stevens for deceiving the people of Asiri on the contract awarded for the construction of roads and some gutters in the Asiri Community.

Hon Barnabas lamented that, there has been a gutter which was excavated in the Asiri town before the 2020 elections but left behind uncompleted which is causing series of injuries at Asiri. He stressed that, the construction was led by former Jaman North MP Honorable Siaka Stevens therefore, he must look for the contractor to attend to site for the completion of the death trap gutter else any negative incidents that will happen as a result of the uncompleted gutter will follow legal action.

Injury Victim of the uncompleted gutter whose name was given as Comfort, spoke with Kwaku Mensah Abrampa on what she has been through after she encountered the injury for about 5 months ago.

Speaking on the construction of Seketia – Goka Road, he explained that the road is under construction but contractor is not on site. He added that, he is optimistic on the return of the contractor to site to complete the construction of the road because, equipments for the construction are on site.
