The late chief of Gbeogo finally goes home

The late chief of the Gbeogo Traditional Areas has been buried.

The final funeral right was held on Sunday, May 16, at Gbeogo.

The Hon. Member of Parliament for Talensi Constituency, the Hon. B. T. Baba led an NDC party delegation to Gbeogo to witness the final funeral rites of the chief of the area.

The party in a brief speech presented by the chairman, Mr George Adongo Ayamboya extolled the virtues of the late Chief of the area and described him as a developmentally oriented leader who brought a lot of developmental projects and NGOs to the area.

The party thus, described his demise as a big lost not only to the Gbeogo community but the entire Talensi land.

The regent and his people were thus, admonished to immortalize these virtues of their departed leader and ensure that peace reigns in the processes leading to and after his succession.

The team afterwards, presented two crates of beer, other assorted items and some cash amount to the family.
Prior to this, the Hon. M.P. was at Bawku to join hands with colleagues MPs from the region and the party leadership to observe the 40 days Adua of the late mother of our regional chairman, Alhaji Mumuni Bol-Naba.
