The horrific treatment of journalists in this country by the Akufo-Addo-led NPP administration is becoming a national headache that every citizen has contracted without any possible tranquilizers. One may be tempted to congratulate Kofi Koomson for warning the country about this 1970s barbaric, Stalinist, soviet oppressive governance which we took for a joke.
How we regret the painful price we are paying now for this avoidable ignorance!
The animalistic behaviour of the criminals conscripted into our national security set up culminating in the Boko Haram style molestation of journalists in this country epitomized by the ordeal Caleb Kudah of Citi Fm went through has woken us all up to the disturbing reality of the all die be die cult that is being nurtured by the very person whom we entrusted our very safety in.
Let us not be fooled by what has happened; the bigger threat is where it was coming from, the systemic evil cult embedded in the noble state institutions such as the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB). The rebel massacre at the Ayawaso West Wuogon bye election in 2019 was the red light. The Emil Short commission of enquiry identified the animals who constitute this cult and recommended they should be disbanded immediately.
Unfortunately the recommendations went to the head of the evil cult to implement. He cannot be expected to commit suicide so he threw egg in the face of Emil Short and his lieutenants.
This attitude emboldened the security rebels to visit their venom on Ghanaians whose tax money feeds their dirty souls every day. During the 2020 general elections these wolves were deployed to kill, maim and beat up Ghanaians in order to facilitate the rigging architecture that was planted to keep their commander in power. They managed to kill couples of Ghanaians and incapacitated many. Mission accomplished! Their master remains in power. It is now time to show everyone where power lies.
In a show of needless bravado which nonsensically is not equal to matching armed robbers and ritual killers in the country, some hooligans in the condemnable SWAT of the Ghana Police Service under the command of DSP Samuel Kojo Azugu have produced a Hollywood movie in broad day light in Accra to get the whole country on panic. It is as if Ghanaians are disturbing their master so they needed to burn the stubborn tsetseflies that are seeking to give their commander in chief some sleeping sickness.
In the narration of Caleb Kudah, he had to deny he is an Ewe to prevent further beating. This is where the meat is. There is clearly an intrinsic ethnic agenda against some tribes by the Akufo-Addo administration. The Akim sakawa group has begun purposefully relegating non-Akan tribes using state machinery and this should be worrying. There is no guarantee that the NPP will remain in power forever hence the need to check this primitive attitude before it generates ethnic backlash when another party gains power.
It is in the interest of Akufo-Addo and his marauding elephants to halt their destructive march before they plunge like the legion into the sea. They may be able to possess a herd of pigs but when the people who are visibly fed up begin to petition heaven, Christ will command them to leave and their destination is not in doubt; not even the uncertain National Cathedral will be enough to save them should it be completed.
Ghana is angry; let those who have ears listen. The days of kalabule have returned, ”awam” people are scrambling for undeserved windfall but how long can they continue?
