Beneficiaries of MP’s Poverty Alleviation Program graduate at Badu

The Member of Parliament for the Tain Constituency has organized a brief graduation ceremony to mark the end of a skill training programs for women and youth in his constituency.

The Law Maker and the Former District Chief Executive of the district under the erstwhile Mahama administration, rolledout this important initiative to augment the farming activities so that the beneficiaries can have multiple streams of income for a better living.

This program, the Poverty Alleviation Programme, was organized for the major communities within the Tain District for all those who were interested in acquiring a skill for free under this program.

The training has been ongoing for almost a month in different stages and the beneficiaries at Badu held their graduation on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the premises of Badu Presby Church.

The participants expressed their appreciation to the Hon MP, Hon Ramzy Adama Sulemana for this all important training which will help them in their daily life improvement.

In a short speech delivered by the Member of Parliament, Hon Adama Sulemana used the opportunity to urge the participants not to sit down but start practicing what they have learnt from the training. He pledged to support them financially when he receive resources so that they can expand they trade.

The Member of Parliament further urged communities that are yet to benefit from tge training to patronize it when their turn is due, and that all, irrespective of the political differenc, should be part of this programme for their own good.

“After the elections, the resources are for all the constituents hence I will urge communities who are yet to benefit from this programme not to politicize it because the resources that will be given me will be for all the constituents but not NDC or NPP or any political party” he stated.
