The MP of Kpando Hon Della Sowah has a special gift for all children born on Mothers day in the Kpando Municipality.
Working with MS Tourism Ghana, Mrs. Sowah visited the Margaret Marquart Hospital and interacted with staff, care givers and mothers who delivered their babies on the 9th May.
This has been a practice the MP started in 2014 and has maintained it ever since.
Under the practice, children born in all health facilities and by TBA in the municipality qualify for a token gift from the MP.
The Administrator of the hospital Mr. Williams Ladzaka who accompanied the MP to the unit, thanked her for her continued support for the hospital.
He noted that among other things, she had assisted the hospital in providing all the wood needed for the roofing of the intensive care unit.
Mrs. Sowah was also instrumental in the accreditation of the Nurses Training College at the hospital.
The midwives who received the delegation thanked the MP for her continued support.
