A teacher kills a young man in Berekum – Mpatasie

A 50yr old teacher by name Amankona Foster a.k.a Tarla, has stabbed a 35yr old young man by Name Paa Yaw to death at Berekum – Mpatasie, in the Bono Region of Ghana.

Eye witness narrated the incident to London B, of Akomapa FM-Berekum.

On Saturday, April 17, 2021, at around 7:30am, a young man by name Paa Yaw came to Mr. Amankona Foster a.k.a Tarla at Berekum – Mpatasie, who teaches at Saint Monica’s Government School in Berekum, to collect his money owe him.

According to the eye witness, Madam Victoria Yeboaa, Paa Yaw credited an amount of money to unidentified person and  Mr. Foster who led the person to borrow the money from Paa Yaw served as a witness to the debtor.

At the time to pay back the money, the debtor was nowhere to be found.

An eyewitness, Madam Victoria Yeboaa, narrated that the creditor always come to Mr.Tarla to pay the money since he is the Guaranter.

Paa Yaw met his untimely death Just yesterday April 17th 2021 around 7:30am when the creditor came to Mr. Tarla’s house to take his money which led to a serious misunderstanding between the two and out of anger, Mr Foster Amankona Tarla, took a well sharpened cutlass from his room and stabbed Paa Yaw, on his both hands and at his head, and felt down unconsciously in a pool of blood.

 Stephen Amankona, who got to the scene late, rushed Paa Yaw to the Berekum Holy Family Hospital.

Subsequently, Paa Yaw was pronounced dead 30 minutes after his arrival at the Hospital by the doctors. 

One Jennifer, who also witnessed the incident, shared to London B of what she saw.

The lifeless body has been conveyed and deposited at the Berekum Holy Family Hospital morge for autopsy and preservation but the murderer took to his heels after the incident and was nowhere to be found.

Police in Berekum are still on investigation and searching for the criminal.
