Jaman South MP rollouts free skills training programme

The first time Member of Parliament for the Jaman South Constituency on the ticket of the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress, has successfully rollout a program for the youth. 

 Hon. Williams Okofo- Dateh, in fulfilment of his 2020 election campaign promise, to equip the youth with free vocational skills, has rolled out the programme, to train over two thousand (2,000) youth, across the length and breadth of the constituency.

This skill acquisation program, is aimed at equipping the beneficiaries, in the production of daily household items, in the following areas, to provide an additional sources of income to help them earn a good living.

 1. Pastries which include, Pie, doughnuts, Cake, Chips, Cheese, short bread etc.

 2. Soap ( Azuma blow, B.F)

3 . Cream (Hairfood)etc

The program commences tomorrow, Monday 12th April, 2021 with the following communities.

 1. Yaamansa :12th April – 15th April, 2021

 2. Tekese :12th April – 15th April, 2021

 3. Ampenkro: 12th April – 15th April, 2021

 4. Miremano: 12th April – 15th April, 2021.

At the end of this free skills training program, certificates will be awarded to sucessful participants and their details documented for further support, in the course of their activities. 

 Also, plans are far advanced, in the case of his Agricultural development program that is solely aimed at farmers, who want to go into vegetables production such as garden eggs, onion, cabbage, cherry pepper, tomatoes, beans, groundnut as well as rice and maize production in the Jaman South district. 

This agricultural training program, per the Member of Parliament for Jaman South, Hon Williams Okofo-Dateh, will be initiated in the coming days.

It must be noted that, the cost of training and the issuance of certificates for the entire program, is fully absorbed by Hon. Williams Okofo-Dateh.
