The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tain on Thursday, 8th of April, 2021, visited Brohani, one of his communities, to inspect the ongoing vocational training on soap and pastries.
The participants, who are mainly females, were happy upon seeing him and expressed their pleasure for such an intervention being introduced by the MP within this short period of his tenure as MP for Tain.
“We are very happy to have you as MP because even with this alone as an achievement, we will vote for you again”.
According to Ms Asan, one of the beneficiaries, ”we are seeing this for the first time in our lives, that an MP arranges for a free vocational training for his constituents, let alone visiting them when it is not an election year”
The Member of Parliament, Hon Sulemana Adama, took time to thank the participants for embracing his initiatives to equip them with the training on soap and pastries.
Even though the issuance of certificates is optional, he further urged them to opt for it since it will be the only evidence to show that indeed, they have acquired knowledge in that field.
Before leaving the premises, he asked them to proclaim the good news to others who may first not believe it to be possible in order for them to also avail themselves whenever such an opportunity comes.
Hon. Sulemana Adama was accompanied by some of the constituency executives, including the Chairman, Organizer, Youth Organizer, Women Organizer, Treasurer and other executives of the Brohani Electoral Area.
He used the opportunity to commend the executives for making it possible in his absence and urged them to continue their supervisory role when the training program is scheduled for other communities.
