NDC congratulates speaker of parliament Rt. Hon. Alban S.K Bagbin

You have served and defended the Party, the NDC, with every single platform and opportunity given you.

You have served the Party and country, on various leadership roles, both locally and internationally and you delivered exceptionally.

You have made us appreciate the fact that, the toil of our Members of Parliament, Party Leadership and prayer of grassroots, to making sure you were elected as the Speaker of Ghana’s 8th Parliament was not a wasted effort and we as a political party, are proud of you.

We appreciate everything you have used your office as the Speaker, to contribute to party’s development and ensuring that the party’s leadership and some prominent party people are involved in decision making, especially in Ghana’s Parliament.

We are most grateful, specifically to the appointment of Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, our champion  General Secretary, to serve on the Parliamentary Service Board, which alone, has given the Kyei – Mensah led NPP, a  “bleeding epitome”.

Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, who was a three time Member of Parliament for the then Wenchi West, served as a Deputy Agric Minister and also the longest serving General Secretary in the history of Ghana’s politics.

His experience in nation building and Ghana’s political terrine, would go a long way in revamping the lost integrity and respect of Ghana’s Parliament of the past few years.

We believe that, the appointment of our General Secretary is a step in the right direction because, he is a man who throughout his life, has loved and practiced justice, equity, peace and unity.

One thing we believe in is that, stupid and bogus bills, and corrupt dealings from the executive side, would not stand the test of time under his watch on the board.

We appreciate your kindness and continuous support to the NDC party and your plan to keep an eagle eye on the chief mother serpent of corruption (Nana Akufo-Addo) led NPP government, to ensure they account for every single action or step taken, which would not be in the interest of the suffering masses of Ghanaians

We appreciate your tireless effort  and would also want to use this medium to ask for more, as Oliver Twist would always do.

You have really demonstrated that, you are a true cadre and a founding member of the NDC
