”They are guilty of themselves” – Anane Adjei to unknown cadre group

A leading figure of the Cadre Movement, an activist of revolution group, in the Bono Region of Ghana, has chastised an unknown group and subsequently referred to it as a ”fake cadre”.

On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, a group by name Cadres for Accountable Leadership with its unidentified members, came out with a press conference to demand for the NDC’s own collated results and subsequently urged the NDC Executives to render an unqualified apology to the Electoral Commission in case the party leadership fails to come out with its own collated results within two weeks.

Mr Kwabena Anane Adjei, who was surprised of such group, described the members of the group as ”people who are guilty of themselves because what the NDC did was right and the only thing these unidentified members could do to deceive the public was to wear a counterfeit as cadres”.

”These fake people have tried and convicted themselves in the eyes of the general public. What do we, the NDC, have to apologise to the Electoral Commission if indeed, ruling by the unanimous Supreme Court Judges was right”?

According to the founding member of the Cadre Movement, ”a lie is a confirmation of supremacy of truth” which cannot stand in the light of truth. ”Why will true cadres cover up their faces with masks and refused to make their identities known to the public”?

Mr Kwabena Anane Adjei, who was optimistic of victory in 2024, urged the NDC to disregard such fake group in the name of Cadres for Accountable Leadership and forge forward for the next General Election in 2024.

Mr Kwabena Anane Adjei, is known for his dedicated service to the course of Cadre Movement and the progress of the party.

When asked by the host, Mr Charles Akowuah Tuffour on Masemtvgh as to why he, Mr Kwabena Anane Adjei returned a balance from his travel expenses to a trip in Angola to the then President Jerry John Rawlings with receipts, he said ”i was filled with joy for serving my country and not for money and this was my motivation through out my days”.

Mr Anane Adjei recounted how the likes of the current Bono Regional Chairman of the NDC and a former Ambassador to Algeria, H. E. Kwadwo Nyamekye-Marfo, Mr Arhin Takyi, Kwadwo Mahama were brought onboard to lead the Cadre Movement in the then Brong Ahafo Region through a well coordinated system known as ‘cell’.

This ‘cell’ was established to motivate and energise the grassroots to show commitment to the activities of the NDC.

There was a joint secretaries meeting with President Rawlings on every Thursday to pass information from the grassroots to the top and discuss in details, matters of public interest to come out with viable policies.

This, to Mr Anane Adjei, help the PNDC government to provide policies that were in need of the ordinary masses and admonished the NDC, to put in place a similar measures, to involve the grassroots in any decision the Party takes.
