The NDC newly elected Member of parliament for Wenchi Constituency, in the Bono Region Hon. Alhaji Seidu Haruna has embarked on a Thank You Tour to express his appreciation to the electorates in the constituency of giving him the nod to lead them in parliament.
The legislator in his tour,also took the opportunity to have a first sight of challenges confronting the people of Wenchi.
He paid a courtesy call on the Wenchi traditional council outline his plans and efforts for the constituency.
He also paid courtesy call on chiefs and People of Buoku,Ahwene,Nkonsia,Nchiraa,Branam, subinso among others.
He further visited some government institutions like the security services and health centres within his constituency, and expressed his heart felt gratitude to them for their selfless service to the constituents of Wenchi and Ghana at large and further promised them of his continuous support as a legislator.
He reiterated that, Wenchi is confronted with high water challenges especially in the rural areas and assured them some lasting solutions to the water crisis through his common fund.
He assured them of setting up an office of the Member of parliament within the constituency, where grievances of the people would be channeled to so immediate address the MP and floor of parliament, as well as other platforms available, to ensure that their needs are addressed
The people as well as the leaderships, like the traditional council, security services, health institutions as well as other public and private institutions expressed their appreciation and asked for the guidance of the most his Allah on their selfless and people centered member of parliament
